The key to being good parents is definitely how well you understand the needs of your children. Normally when your child cries, a parent would definitely feel bad as well thinking that the child is not getting what he or she really wants, and sometimes angry when you see your child making a fuss. It is not easy to deal with such situations, yet with a little bit of patience from your part, this kind of situations can be dealt with quickly, and effectively.
Remember that we were children as well not too long ago, and we can relate to how they exactly feel if we stop and try to understand what they are going through. Children are young, and thus we as parents have to explain things carefully and patiently to them until they understand completely how the situations are. Children normally feel lost when they do not get what they want, thinking that the parents do not care or love them anymore, thus take time to reassure them patiently. It is recommended to eat more bananas, apples, rice and toast as these foods provide enough nutrition to the pregnant woman. Besides this, the recommended food will not cause pain in the stomach as they are light. If the pregnant woman is having fever, try applying a wet cloth with ice on the head to lower the body temperature.
If the pregnant woman has mucus in the nose which blocks the airway, then she must take extra care to prevent suffocation when asleep. To prevent suffocation, sleep with the head and upper body elevated. When the head and upper body elevated, the mucus will flow through the nose instead of flowing into the respiration system. Another way is to use nasal strips on the nose when sleeping. Besides this, the throat will feel irritate when having cold. Drinking a glass of warm water with a little lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey will relief the throat irritate. If the pregnant woman is having a mild cough, there is a remedy to sooth an aching throat. Brew tae with slice of ginger and 2 spoons of honey. Honey and mint lozenges controls cold and cough and peppermint soothe the throat.
It is very important to make sure anything consume by the pregnant woman doesn’t affect the fetus. If the cold or flu symptom become serious, seek professional medical advice. Make sure the supplements is safe to the fetus.
